Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) will hold the 'Seongdong Future Job Experience & On-Ma-eul Experiential Learning Festival' on October 5th at 1 PM around the Seongdong 4th Industrial Revolution Experience Center.
In its second year, this festival offers a chance to experience popular programs for children and future technologies all in one place, selected from 110 On-Ma-eul experiential learning sites operated by the district. About 40 experience booths featuring future technology experiences and popular On-Ma-eul experiential learning programs, along with rides and exciting special performances, will provide joyful memories.
At the 4th Industrial Revolution Experience Center, visitors can experience future jobs and technologies reflecting the latest trends. Approximately 20 diverse experiences will be available, including ▲ AI Photo Magic ▲ AI Art Studio ▲ AI Text Art Exhibition ▲ Robot Trio Concert ▲ Robo Master Survival ▲ Drawing Robot Caricature ▲ VR Thrill Ride, among others.
In the center’s parking lot, 'Small Land' will operate, offering various fun activities and attractions such as children’s Viking ride, Battle King Colosseum, and Robot Tech food (chicken, cotton candy).
At Jeongwanwon Children's Park near the center, 16 colorful booths popular with children will be available, including ▲ Tassel Decoration Keyring Making ▲ Leather Craft ▲ Coffee Grounds Flowerpot ▲ Nail Art ▲ My Own Figure Making ▲ Global Experience with Native Speakers ▲ Touring Art & Chromakey Experience ▲ Disaster Safety Experience, along with special performances such as magic shows, bubble shows, and balloon shows.
Especially at this festival, two performance shows utilizing LED media will be presented. To allow enjoyment for both children and adults, the 'Media Daego & Percussion Performance' combines dazzling media art, grand music, and a new form of percussion performance, while the 'LED Tron Dance Performance' features dynamic dance wearing costumes illuminated by LED lights in the dark.
The festival is open to all Seongdong-gu residents, including children and parents. Children wishing to participate in booths and experiences can purchase admission wristbands on-site. All proceeds will be donated in full through the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.
Jeong Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, "This festival not only offers children the opportunity to experience future technologies that are usually hard to access but also prepares various performances for the whole family to enjoy. I hope our children, the future leaders, will create precious memories with their families through diverse experiences."
