Cheongsong County, Gyeongbuk will host the 35th Gyeongbuk Choir Festival at Sanso Cafe Cheongsong Garden on Saturday, October 5th, at 1:00 PM.
This choir festival, organized and hosted by the Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korea Choir Association and sponsored by Cheongsong County, will feature 21 choirs from cities and counties across Gyeongbuk, including the Cheongsong Culture Center Choir and the Cheongsong Senior Choir.
The Gyeongbuk Choir Festival will present beautiful harmonies and melodies against the backdrop of Sanso Cafe Cheongsong Garden, where zinnias are in full bloom. The event will be divided into two parts: the first at 1:00 PM and the second at 6:00 PM.
Notably, Hwang Jimin (solo division) and Happy Melody (ensemble division), who won the grand prize at the 3rd National Cheongsong Garden Children's Song Festival held last May, will perform to further enhance the atmosphere of the festival.
The unified harmonies of each choir, prepared over a long period, are expected to offer a warm and moving experience like the autumn sunshine. In case of rain, the event will be held at the Grand Performance Hall of the Cheongsong Culture and Arts Center.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee said, "I hope that the choir performances held at Sanso Cafe Cheongsong Garden, filled with the scent of autumn, will enrich the hearts of all participants," and added, "I hope you fully enjoy the autumn of Cheongsong with wonderful people."
