Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) announced on the 2nd the '2025 School Year Public and Private Secondary School Teacher, Special Education (Secondary), Professional Counseling, Nutrition, Health, and Librarian Teacher Candidate Selection Competitive Examination Implementation Plan' through the Gyeongbuk Office of Education website.
The recruitment scale is 459 people, with 280 for public schools and 179 for private schools. For public schools, 280 candidates will be selected in 28 subjects, including secondary school teachers, special education (secondary), professional counseling, nutrition, health, and librarian teachers (including 23 positions for persons with disabilities). For private schools, 179 candidates will be selected in 27 subjects entrusted by 51 private school corporations (including 2 positions for persons with disabilities).
Applications will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. on the 14th to 6:00 p.m. on the 18th, and applicants can submit their applications through the online teacher recruitment system.
The first round of the exam will be held on November 23, and the second round will be held on January 15 next year and from January 21 to 22. The final successful candidates will be announced on February 11, 2025, through the Gyeongbuk Office of Education website.
