Former announcer and broadcaster Park Ji-yoon (45) and Choi Dong-seok (46) have raised allegations of infidelity against each other amid their divorce lawsuit.
According to Choi Dong-seok's side on the 2nd, he filed a lawsuit for damages against Park Ji-yoon and a man identified as A at the Jeju District Court on the 30th of last month, claiming compensation for alienation of affection. In response, Park Ji-yoon's side stated that they are "checking the matter."
Earlier, Park Ji-yoon also filed a lawsuit against Choi Dong-seok in June, accusing him of having an affair, and it was revealed that a woman identified as B was sued. In response, Choi Dong-seok posted on his social media, "It is true that my acquaintance was sued by Park Ji-yoon," but added, "There was absolutely no illegal activity during my marriage with Park Ji-yoon, and I will strongly respond to defamation caused by false accusations." Furthermore, he stated, "The truth will be revealed in court, and the court's judgment will be transparently disclosed," and requested, "Please refrain from making unfounded speculations based on unconfirmed facts."
Meanwhile, Park Ji-yoon and Choi Dong-seok, who joined KBS as announcers in the 30th class, got married in November 2009 and have one son and one daughter. They announced their separation last October after 14 years of marriage and are currently undergoing divorce proceedings.
