Performance Evaluation Inspection of Disaster Prevention Facilities to be Conducted on the 4th from 3 PM to 5 PM

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 2nd that the Yukgapmun gate on Jayuro (in front of Nanji Water Reclamation Center) will be partially controlled for two hours from 3 PM to 5 PM on the 4th, according to the performance evaluation of disaster prevention facilities to maintain their functionality.

The city plans to alternately control one lane of the two lanes in the Yukgapmun underpass (in front of Nanji Water Reclamation Center). Drivers heading from Incheon Airport Expressway toward Ilsan and those attempting to make a U-turn from Jayuro Seoul direction toward Ilsan and Paju are advised to be cautious.

The performance evaluation will check the operation during the opening and closing of Yukgapmun, detachment of wires and other accessories, and the degree of shielding. Urgent improvements will be immediately repaired and reinforced, and for other matters, a maintenance plan will be established to ensure continuous management.

A city official stated, “We plan to conduct inspections promptly to minimize inconvenience caused by traffic control,” and added, “We ask for the understanding and cooperation of all citizens.”
