From the 10th, for 3 days at Wonju Innovation City Mirinae Plaza area
Wonju City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Won Kang-su) announced on the 2nd that the Wonju Innovation City Merchants Association (President Bae Ho-seok) will hold the "1st Innovation Beer Festival" for three days from the 10th to the 12th at Mirinae Plaza and Culture Street in Wonju Innovation City.
At this Innovation Beer Festival, about 40 various booths will be set up, including a beer garden, food and experience booths operated by the Wonju Innovation City Merchants Association, as well as promotional booths run by public institutions. The operating hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
In addition, performances by local art groups and public institution clubs, professional team performances, and a nationwide karaoke stage with comedian Son Heon-su are scheduled. The "Innovation Love Relay Busking," part of the Cultural Innovation City Development Project, will also be featured during the event period.
A Wonju city official stated, "Following the co-prosperity market event in the first half of the year, we will continue to strive to improve residential conditions in the Innovation City and satisfy the thirst for culture with the beer festival in the second half."
