SK Telecom announced on the 1st that it plans to enrich customers' travel experiences by launching a new benefit program called 'Club T Roaming,' which combines T Membership and T Roaming.
Club T Roaming is a program that offers useful benefits throughout the entire travel process?from preparing for the trip, to overseas stay, and even after returning home. It is available to all customers subscribed to the SKT baro plan.
The usage method is simple. Customers can select the Club T Roaming menu on the first screen of the T Membership application to check various benefits. baro plan subscribers can receive 'pre-departure benefits,' and when using roaming with the baro plan overseas, they can also enjoy 'post-return benefits.'
As pre-departure benefits, SKT offers ▲T Roaming baro 1GB free recharge voucher ▲Tada large taxi discount of 30,000 KRW for arrivals and 20,000 KRW for departures to/from Incheon Airport ▲50% preferential exchange rate at Hana Bank Incheon Airport branch ▲5,000 KRW cashback on overseas payments over 50,000 KRW with Shinhan Card SOL Travel Check Card (limited to the first 20,000 customers) ▲3,000 KRW discount at Incheon Airport Food Court Culinary Square. Each benefit can be used once per month.
An event is also underway where customers who have not used a roaming plan for five years and subscribe to the baro plan can receive 50% of their roaming charges back as Naver Pay points. Participation is only possible through the T Membership app until the end of November.
Customers who use roaming with the baro plan receive various benefits even at their travel destinations, including ▲10% discount and free F&B at 'La Vall?e Village' outlet in Paris, France ▲free popular menu items at 'S?m M?i Garden' restaurant in Da Nang, Vietnam ▲free Phu Phat Phong Curry at 'Northeast' restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand.
Additionally, SKT customers can enjoy various ongoing benefits of T Membership's 'Global Travel' in nine regions worldwide, including Guam and Saipan.
Benefits continue even after returning home. Customers can choose one of several benefits such as ▲5,000 KRW recharge to Danggeun Money ▲1-month Ddareungi bike pass (limited to the first 1,000 customers) ▲5,000 KRW discount at Olive Young ▲5,000 KRW discount on purchases over 10,000 KRW at Twosome Place.
A special event for October is also prepared. To celebrate the program launch, SKT is collaborating with the beauty brand 'Aestura' to provide travel kits as pre-departure benefits at the 'T Roaming Center' in the duty-free zones of Incheon Airport Terminals 1 and 2 to the first 120 customers daily. Additionally, customers with birthdays in October will receive a 10,000 KRW discount on birthday cakes at Tous Les Jours.
Meanwhile, baro plan users can roam immediately without SIM replacement or complicated settings, and baro calls and texts are free. A family roaming feature is also provided, allowing up to five family members to share data if the representative pays an additional 3,000 KRW.
