Family Festival Event Held at Seokchon Lake West Lake Waterfront Stage from 5 PM on October 5
DJ Introduces Stories + Music Performances... A Special Cultural and Artistic Festival Full of Autumn Romance
Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that it will hold the family festival "2024 Songpa Nangman Dabang" at the Seokchon Lake West Lake Waterfront Stage from 5 PM on the 5th.
"Songpa Nangman Dabang" is a family festival with the concept of an outdoor radio live broadcast, where stories from residents who registered in advance are introduced and requested songs are played. The Songpa Women's Culture Center Volunteer Group and local artists will participate.
In particular, this year, to provide more residents with opportunities to enjoy culture and arts, the festival, which was held on a small scale every year at Ogeum Park, has moved its stage to Seokchon Lake.
The main performance will begin at 5 PM at the Seokchon Lake West Lake Waterfront Stage.
Under the theme of "Love, Excitement, and First Meetings Experienced in Songpa," stories submitted by residents will be selected and introduced, followed by romantic musical performances by singers conveying comfort and love.
The waterfront stage will invite the first 30 families who sent stories, providing cushions, glow sticks, popcorn, coffee coupons, and more, creating an atmosphere like an outdoor concert on an autumn night, offering a unique and memorable time for both the story applicants and visitors.
As a pre-performance, from 4:30 PM, the Songpa Women's Culture Center Volunteer Group's String S, Hertz, and Muse Orchestra will present wonderful performances fitting the theme.
The invited singer, Shin Yong-jae, known for his soulful vocals, will deliver an emotional performance suitable for an autumn night. Following him, the Police Symphony Orchestra, soprano Oh Eun-kyung, soprano Kim Seo-young, tenor Min Hyun-gi, and baritone Kim Bong-jung will perform, filling the evening with autumn sounds that offer residents a moment of peace.
Near the Seokchon Lake Atelier at the entrance of the waterfront stage, various experiential events are also prepared. From 4 PM, "My Own Romantic Storage," a capsule drawing event containing messages written by residents such as "Songpa-gu's Healing Spot" and "My Own Recipe," will be operated, along with nail art by the Songpa Women's Culture Center Volunteer Group and Korean calligraphy, providing visitors to Seokchon Lake with small pleasures.
Seo Gang-seok, Mayor of Songpa-gu, said, "I hope that Songpa Nangman Dabang, where residents' stories and music come together, will be a time to enjoy the deepening autumn night atmosphere and heal," adding, "We will continue to provide opportunities for all residents to enjoy and appreciate culture and arts in their daily lives and create 'Songpa, a city where culture and arts flow.'"
