Discussion on Support Measures and Collaborative Projects for Linkage Between Startup Institutions
On the 27th, the 2024 Goyang Special City Startup Support Council staff members are cheering after finishing a meeting. Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) held the 2024 Goyang Special City Startup Support Council Practitioners' Meeting on the 27th, reaffirming their commitment to active startup support activities and cooperation.
According to Goyang Special City on the 30th, at this meeting, startup experts from 10 institutions comprising the Goyang Special City Startup Support Council gathered to share the progress of major projects for 2024 by each institution and discuss ways to collaborate on each project.
They reviewed the current startup environment and sought practical cooperation measures for the efficient operation and effectiveness analysis of various startup support programs related to the research project "Activation of Startup Support in Goyang Special City," which was selected by the Goyang Research Institute.
Additionally, the city provided guidance on the Goyang IR Day, Goyang Startup Pop-up Store, Goyang One-stop Startup Platform (Startup Mentoring), Goyang Youth Startup Fund, Goyang Venture Fund, and technology development research support plans. Each institution agreed to cooperate in the participation and promotion of startup companies.
Meanwhile, the Goyang Special City Startup Support Council is an organization for joint development through information exchange and collaboration among startup support institutions, consisting of △Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology △Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency △Dongguk University Startup Technology Institute △Korea Aerospace University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation △Joongbu University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation △Goyang Industry Promotion Agency △Goyang Women's Startup Support Center △Goyang Research Institute △Small and Medium Business Corporation (Northern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters), and operates cooperatively.
