October 5 Seorak-myeon Sports Park... Dance and Band Performances with Abundant Experience Events Prepared
In Seorak-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won), a youth joint festival where young people can freely express their talents will be held on October 5th.
According to Gapyeong-gun on the 30th, the "2024 Gapyeong-gun Youth Joint Festival," hosted by Gapyeong-gun and organized by the Seorak Youth Culture House, will be grandly held at the Seorak-myeon Sports Park from 12 PM to 4 PM on October 5th.
The youth joint festival, attended by about 400 youths and parents, will be held under the theme "Seol樂 (Ak) Dream Festival," involving participation from four youth facilities and related organizations in the Gapyeong area.
At the festival, youths belonging to clubs from Gapyeong Youth Culture House, Seorak Youth Culture House, and Jojong Youth Culture House will showcase their youthful talents and skills through dance and band performances. Additionally, the band clubs from Gapyeong Middle School and Gapyeong High School will also participate, adding to the festival's excitement with band and ensemble drum performances.
To enhance the enjoyment of the festival, various experience booths such as laser survival games, drone, virtual reality (VR), indoor archery experiences, and food booths offering chicken gangjeong, hot dogs, and more will be operated. Participating youths can experience 15 different booths, and by collecting 3 coupons, they can get a drink; with 5 coupons, they can choose one item from chicken gangjeong, hot dogs, takoyaki, or drinks at the food truck. Moreover, collecting 7 coupons allows participation in a prize draw event.
These coupons can be accumulated and used again. For example, after collecting 3 coupons to get a drink, collecting 2 more coupons allows additional food like chicken gangjeong. The prize draw works the same way.
A representative from Seorak Youth Culture House said, "This youth joint festival is prepared as an event where various experiences, food, and the talents of youths can be freely expressed," adding, "We hope many youths participate in the festival and create joyful memories under the clear autumn sky."
Governor Seo Tae-won said, "Our youths are the future and hope of Gapyeong-gun," and added, "We will actively support cultural exchanges and festivals among youths so that they can freely develop their dreams and talents in Gapyeong and prepare for a hopeful future."
Meanwhile, Governor Seo Tae-won, county council members, and local school principals are expected to attend the youth joint festival to celebrate the event and encourage the youths.
