Changwon Special City: Check Discount Providers and Rates on the Changwon City Tour Bus Website

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 30th that, in collaboration with the Masan Fish Market Merchants Association, it will offer up to a 10% discount to tourists visiting Masan Fish Market using the Changwon City Tour Bus starting from October 2.

Changwon City Tour Passengers Receive Up to 10% Discount at Masan Fish Market

Masan Fish Market is a traditional market that sells a wide variety of fresh seafood and is a popular destination for both local residents and tourists. This discount event aims to provide tourists with more opportunities to experience the diverse products at Masan Fish Market and to revitalize the local commercial district.

To receive the discount, visitors must present a Changwon City Tour ticket (wristband type), and the benefit is only valid on the day the ticket is issued. The Changwon City Tour ticket can be purchased when boarding the city tour bus, and advance reservations are not available. The city tour bus operates every day except Mondays and national holidays.

The list of participating stores and the discount rates can be checked on the Changwon City Tour Bus website or through information signs posted at the entrances of each store. The city and the Masan Fish Market Merchants Association plan to continue expanding the number of participating stores through ongoing cooperation.

The city has also made special efforts to revitalize the commercial district, such as relocating the existing Masan Fish Market bus stop to an area near the entrance of the market in August.

Meanwhile, Changwon City and Korail have recently collaborated to attract more tourists to Changwon during the autumn festival season via KTX. Korail is currently selling tourism packages on its website that include free rides on the Changwon City Tour Bus and discounts on the ferry to Dotseom Island.
