Night Openings, Performances, Exhibitions, and Educational Programs Held for Autumn Foliage Season
The Independence Hall presents various programs such as night openings, performances, exhibitions, and educational activities to celebrate the autumn foliage season.
The Independence Hall of Korea is presenting a variety of programs such as nighttime openings, performances, exhibitions, and educational events to celebrate the autumn foliage season.
First, from the 11th of next month to November 10th, the Maple Tree Forest Trail will be open at night every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Neon signs featuring quotes and photo zones will be installed along the Maple Tree Forest Trail so that visitors can feel the traces of independence activists while walking. On the 26th of next month, a healing music concert featuring theme songs from movies about the independence movement will be held, offering a historical experience through music.
During the event period, outdoor exhibition commentary programs will also be operated at night along the Maple Tree Forest Trail and at the Joseon Government-General Demolition Artifact Exhibition Park.
A variety of exhibition programs such as collaborative exhibitions, special exhibitions, touring exhibitions, and exhibition conferences will also be held.
In line with the nighttime opening days, exhibitions on the themes of "History of the Independence Movement for Children" and "National Symbol Taegeukgi" will be available along the Maple Tree Forest Trail. In collaboration with Korea Railroad Corporation, special exhibitions will be held at Seoul Station, Gwangju Songjeong Station, and Busan Station, focusing on independence movements centered around railway stations during the Japanese occupation.
In the exhibition halls, there will be special exhibitions to honor donors and share donated materials with the public.
An official from the Independence Hall of Korea said, "As autumn is the season when the most visitors come each year, we aim to operate programs that people can participate in and enjoy across various fields," adding, "We hope you visit the Independence Hall, where you can experience both history and nature, and make wonderful memories."
