Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 30th that it held a completion ceremony for the global eco-friendly volunteer and exploration program, 'Happy Move the Green.'
The ceremony, held on the 27th at Hyundai Construction's Gyedong Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, consisted of delivering encouraging messages to the members who successfully completed their activities and hearing their reflections on their participation.
The 100 members of 'Happy Move the Green' carried out various environment-related activities over two months starting in July, including attending lectures by environmental experts, group volunteering at Yeouiseotgang Ecological Park and Jincheon Mihogang and Mireu Forest, exploring eco-friendly landmarks in Germany, and brainstorming Hyundai Motor Group's environmental CSR ideas.

At the ceremony, university student members presented ideas they devised in teams of five and awards were given to outstanding teams. Hyundai Motor Group selected six excellent teams on-site by comprehensively considering topic relevance, logic, creativity, and feasibility.
This year's 'Happy Move the Green' is a newly launched global eco-friendly volunteer and exploration program by Hyundai Motor Group, following a domestic pilot operation in 2022.
Hyundai Motor Group reorganized its existing 'Happy Move Global Youth Volunteer Corps,' which had focused on volunteering in developing countries for over 10 years, to focus on the environment and future generations, and recruited applicants from universities nationwide last May.
A Hyundai Motor Group official said, "We strived to provide a special experience that helps participating university students grow into eco-friendly leaders," adding, "Hyundai Motor Group will continue to make steady efforts to preserve a sustainable global environment and raise environmental awareness among future generations."
