On the 30th, Judge Lee Yo-seop of the Seoul Western District Court Summary Division 7 announced that Min, who was summarily indicted for drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act, was issued a summary order of a fine of 15 million won on the 27th. This amount is the same as the amount the prosecution previously requested for Min.
A summary order is a procedure that imposes fines or penalties through written examination only for relatively minor offenses. If Min disagrees with this, he can request a formal trial within seven days from the date the order is notified.
Min was summarily indicted on charges of riding an electric scooter while intoxicated on the street in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at around 11:15 p.m. on the 6th of last month.
