The Korea Venture Business Association announced that it will begin accepting applications for the ‘2024 Korea Startup Support Excellence Institution Selection’ project starting from the 30th.

This project is led by the private sector. Its purpose is to discover public institutions driving the development and growth of the Korean venture startup ecosystem, disseminate excellent cases, and spread the venture startup culture.

The selection targets public institutions contributing to the activation of venture startups. The selection categories include ‘Startup Activation,’ ‘Global Expansion Activation,’ and ‘Startup Culture Expansion.’ Selected institutions will receive the Korea Venture Business Association President’s Award at the ‘Venture Entrepreneurs Year-End Night’ event held on December 10.

The application period runs until 5 p.m. on the 29th of next month. Detailed information can be found on the Korea Venture Business Association website.

A representative of the Korea Venture Business Association said, “The Korean venture startup ecosystem is growing thanks to the active startup support from public institutions,” adding, “Through this selection, we hope to highlight each institution’s efforts to activate venture startups and to spread a challenging startup culture.”
