Three Companies Confirmed as Tenants of Pyeongtaek Port Hydrogen Mobility Startup Center Selection of Tenant Companies for Pyeongtaek Port Hydrogen Mobility Startup Center

The Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority has finalized the companies to move into the Pyeongtaek Port Hydrogen Mobility Startup Center.


On the 30th, the Pyeongtaek Port Authority announced that, in accordance with Gyeonggi Province's hydrogen industry promotion plan, it has selected three companies?Hylium Industry Co., Ltd., startup Suplant, and Seoan Energy Co., Ltd.?as tenants of the Hydrogen Mobility Startup Center to jointly foster a hydrogen startup ecosystem with Pyeongtaek City.


These companies will each leverage their respective technologies to develop liquefied hydrogen storage tanks for hydrogen mobility applications such as ships, commercial vehicles, and urban air mobility (UAM).


Following this selection, the tenant companies will receive benefits including office space and research and development (R&D) funding support.


Kim Seok-gu, President of the Pyeongtaek Port Authority, stated, "We will continue to provide unwavering support so that startups can establish competitiveness in the hydrogen industry using Pyeongtaek Port as a stepping stone. Under Gyeonggi Province's hydrogen industry promotion policy, we aim to develop Pyeongtaek Port into a hub of the hydrogen economy, thereby contributing to regional economic revitalization and job creation."
