In 2023, Uijeongbu City introduced 'META-Uijeongbu,' a newly created virtual space without time and space constraints, operating various contents, and among its representative contents is the operation of the ‘Online Field Mayor's Office.’

During the online Field Mayor's Office held that day, discussions were held on topics such as traffic environment improvements in Gosan-dong including routes G6100 and 1-7, improvement of jobs for the disabled, inquiries about the extension of Subway Line 8, and requests for support for multicultural families.

A citizen who participated in the Field Mayor's Office said, “I usually find it difficult to participate in the Field Mayor's Office due to lack of time, but communicating with the mayor online is convenient and interesting.”
