Yangsu-hyeon, Mayor of Yangju City, Attends the '2024 1st Yangju City Investment Attraction Committee'

Yang Soo-hyun, Mayor of Yangju City, is attending the '2024 1st Yangju City Investment Attraction Committee' held on the afternoon of the 27th.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju attended the ‘2024 1st Yangju Investment Attraction Committee (Chairman Vice Mayor Kim Jeong-min)’ held on the afternoon of the 27th and called for aggressive investment attraction activities to leap forward as the ‘central economic city of northern Gyeonggi Province.’

The ‘Yangju Investment Attraction Committee’ officially launched today to promote local companies and investment attraction. It is composed of 6 ex officio members including the chairman and 9 appointed members who are experts in various fields with extensive investment attraction experience.

They will play a role in deliberation and consultation on corporate attraction strategies and improvement of the investment environment, focusing on the Yangju Techno Valley and Eunnam General Industrial Complex projects promoted by the city, including ▲investment attraction ▲establishment of basic support plans ▲support for domestic and foreign investment companies ▲private investment projects such as social infrastructure.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun stated, "Strategic investment attraction is very important for Yangju to grow as a high-tech industrial hub in northern Gyeonggi Province,” and added, “We will focus administrative power on investment attraction based on the committee’s practical advice and consultation.”

Meanwhile, Yangju plans to continue various investment attraction activities through the committee to actively attract investments from venture companies and high-tech firms, thereby revitalizing the local economy and creating jobs.
