Mutual Cooperation for Glocal University and Busan's Development as a Global Hub City
Busan National University signed a "Business Agreement on Cooperation for the Glocal University 30 Academic-Research Collaboration" with the Busan Institute on the 27th at the university headquarters.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will establish a mutually organic cooperative system to lay the foundation for the Glocal University 30 project and the development of Busan as a global hub city. They also plan to share and connect policies and cooperate on the successful implementation of Glocal University 30 and the creation of the Busan Institute Green Smart Campus.
They also agreed to cooperate in establishing Busan's mid- to long-term development plans, conducting research and investigations on major issues, jointly hosting seminars, forums, and academic conferences, and carrying out joint research projects.
Choi Jaewon, President of Busan National University, said, "I am honored to sign a business agreement for the successful promotion of Glocal University 30 with the Busan Institute, which serves as Busan's comprehensive policy research institute and think tank. We will work together with the Busan Institute to build an innovative system where the university and the region can grow together."
Shin Hyunseok, President of the Busan Institute, stated, "This agreement will create a synergy effect in promoting the Glocal University 30 project and establishing the Green Smart Campus at the Busan Institute. Through cooperation between the two institutions, we will strive to develop practical policies for the advancement of Busan."
