Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation was selected as a Gold Member of the Sharing Excellence Company at the 2024 Gyeonggi Leaders Insight Forum, hosted by the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea, held on the 27th at the Suwon Courtyard Marriott.
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) became the first public institution under Gyeonggi Province to join the Community Chest of Korea’s ‘Sharing Excellence Company Gold Member’ program.
On the 27th, GH announced that it received the Sharing Excellence Company Gold Member certificate at the 2024 Gyeonggi ‘Leaders Insight Forum’ hosted by the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea, held at the Courtyard Marriott Suwon.
The Sharing Excellence Company program is a high-donation corporate program organized by the Community Chest of Korea, classifying members based on donations over the past three years as follows: Gold for 500 million KRW or more, Silver for 300 million KRW or more, and Green for 100 million KRW or more.
This year, GH donated 760 million KRW to the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea to support medical aid projects in four major regions and initiatives to overcome the low birthrate crisis. In addition, GH is actively engaged in a wide range of social contribution activities for the local community, including support for youth cyberbullying prevention, scholarships for high school students, and housing support for young adults preparing for independence.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, stated, "By joining as a Gold Member, the corporation will take greater responsibility for coexistence with the local community and lead efforts to create sustainable social value."
