Daejin University Industry-Academia Capability Development Institute held the opening ceremony for the 3rd term of the "2024 Daejin Noblesse Golf Academy," aimed at training professional golf teaching pros, on the 26th. The Industry-Academy Capability Development Institute at Daejin University (Director Choi Kyung-sook) announced on the 27th that it held the opening ceremony for the 3rd term of the "2024 Academic Year Daejin Noblesse Golf Academy" for training professional golf teaching staff on the 26th at the International Seminar Room on the 2nd floor of the main building of Daejin University.
About 25 people attended the event, including Lee Chun-gil, Vice President for External Cooperation at Daejin University, Director Choi Kyung-sook, Deputy Director Kim Hu-nyeon, faculty members, and students. The event proceeded with introductions of the faculty and students, an overview of the academy program, and an orientation.
Lee Chun-gil, Vice President of Daejin University, said, "Since we are gathered here through the medium of golf, I hope that a wonderful field of life will unfold for you through the Daejin Noblesse Golf Academy program."
Choi Kyung-sook, Director of the Industry-Academy Capability Development Institute at Daejin University, said, "I am pleased to create a place to be with those who work hard for the development of the local community," adding, "The goal of health is moving beyond well-being to wellness, and I can imagine the graduate school classmates pursuing wellness through golf enjoying autumn rounds. I hope you have a fulfilling time this fall through your rounds."
Meanwhile, the "Daejin Noblesse Golf Academy" was launched for the third term last year in cooperation with the Korea Professional Golf Leaders Association (KPGLA) with the aim of promoting social responsibility and health improvement among citizens through the development of sports promotion in the northern Gyeonggi region. Every Thursday, Professor Kim Hu-nyeon (College of Future Lifelong Education Convergence), who currently serves as the head of the Gyeonggi regional headquarters of KPGLA, along with professionals An Hee-su (regular member), Kwak Hee-geon (KPGA regular member), and Jeon Hyung-seok (KPGA regular member), provide intensive education on authentic golf theory and practical methods necessary for establishing skills. Graduates of this program are given the opportunity to obtain a golf teaching professional license issued by KPGLA.
