Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award (Grand Prize) for its contribution to the innovation and investment activation of local public institutions.

On the 27th, SH Corporation announced that it received the Grand Prize at the '2024 Local Public Institution Innovation and Investment Activation Excellence Awards' hosted by the Local Public Enterprise Evaluation Institute for promoting the Seoul City Ferris Wheel and complex cultural facility private investment project. This award was given based on the excellent case contest results, with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety selecting a total of 20 institutions after receiving submissions.
As part of the 'Great Hangang Project,' SH Corporation established the Hangang Development Project Task Force (TF) to participate in the private investment project and decided to participate in the private investment project to secure public interest and expedite the project. In the Ministry of Economy and Finance's review of the appropriateness of private investment target facilities in September last year, SH Corporation's participation was recognized for further strengthening the public nature of the project.
Kim Heon-dong, President of SH Corporation, said, "As a public institution, we will do our best to strengthen the public interest of private investment projects promoted by Seoul City and to activate various public and private investment projects in the future to boost regional economic vitality."
