President Yoon Suk-yeol sent Cho Sang-myung, Director of the National Situation Room, to deliver a congratulatory letter and gifts to Police Officer Yoon Eun-jung and her family at the graduation ceremony of the 314th class of new police officers on the 27th, the Blue House announced.

Officer Yoon is a mother of three sons aged 11, 8, and 6, who successfully balanced raising her children while preparing to become a police officer, taking her first step as a new police officer this time.

In the congratulatory letter, President Yoon said, "It would have been difficult to achieve this without the sense of mission and passion to serve the people, and the dedication of the family who silently supported it," adding, "I promise to do my best to create a society where work and family life can coexist so that more mother police officers like Officer Yoon can emerge, and to support all police officers."

President Yoon sent the congratulatory letter after receiving a letter from Officer Yoon’s mother on the 17th. In her letter, Officer Yoon’s mother wrote, "After she passed the police officer exam, I heard from my grandchildren that their mother put her younger siblings to bed and studied every night, and when the younger siblings were sick and crying, she carried them on her back or laid them on her knees while studying."

She continued, "I was sorry that I could not help my daughter with childcare because we live far apart," and added, "I would be grateful if the President could encourage her."
