The drill involved various scenarios that could occur at marina facilities, such as ship fires, oil spills, and casualties, focusing on response measures including fire suppression, first aid, and rescue operations.
Kim Seok-gu, President of Pyeongtaek Port Authority, stated, "Through this joint drill with Pyeongtaek Coast Guard, our practical response capabilities have greatly improved," adding, "We expect to be able to swiftly carry out disaster response and recovery in similar situations in the future."
