Nowon-gu Launches Youth Portal System 'Cheongnyeon Nuri'

Portal System 'Cheongnyeon Nuri' Launched to Enhance Information Accessibility and Support Social Participation
Active Reflection of Suggestions from Youth Forum, Promoting User-Customized Policies
Providing Diverse Content Including Sector-Specific Youth Policies, Annual Project Schedules, and Feedback Sections

Nowon-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Oh Seung-rok) announced that it has established the youth portal system ‘Cheongnyeon Nuri’ to support social participation by enhancing young people’s access to information.

The establishment of this system was actively promoted by the district in response to suggestions from last year’s ‘Nowon-gu Youth Forum.’ Although the district had been expanding youth support policies significantly since the establishment of the Youth Policy Division in January last year, there was a limitation in information accessibility from the youth’s perspective, making it difficult to clearly check the district’s policies.

The newly launched Nowon-gu youth portal system ‘Cheongnyeon Nuri’ allows users to view the annual schedule of youth policies by sector at a glance, as well as find facilities and spaces for youth and nationwide youth policies all in one place.

In addition to its basic function of providing information, Cheongnyeon Nuri will also operate a section where young people can express their voices and share their opinions on the district’s policies, thereby promoting two-way communication.

The Nowon-gu youth portal can be easily accessed through a separate website address or the shortcut tab at the top of the Nowon-gu district office homepage. The district plans to actively enhance user convenience and strengthen communication and empathy with young people through continuous updates.

Meanwhile, based on three major strategies?‘discovering youth jobs,’ ‘establishing a youth safety net,’ and ‘laying the foundation for youth participation activities’?the district is making efforts to create a “city where youth stay longer.”

The newly launched Cheongnyeon Nuri is related to promoting youth participation among the district’s youth policies, which are being implemented through 48 detailed projects under five major tasks. This is because it was deemed necessary to stably manage communication channels between youth and the district to expand youth participation throughout the district administration and create a virtuous cycle where youth can feel the results.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, said, “A two-way communication space with the youth who will lead the future of Nowon-gu has been established,” and added, “We will continuously check young people’s opinions through the youth portal and actively reflect them in policies.”
