The city of Daegu will operate the “Good Job Bus,” a mobile job counseling service for women who are career-interrupted or unemployed and seeking employment, on the 30th from 11 a.m. at the Donga Department Store Shopping Branch (Banwoldang Station exits 15, 16, 17).
This event is organized by the Southern Women’s New Employment Center, with nine companies participating and planning to hire 21 women. The hiring process is divided into direct employment, where candidates are hired on the spot after an interview (three companies, 13 positions), and indirect employment, where job seekers are recommended to companies (six companies, eight positions).
The three companies conducting on-site interviews are Daegu Happy School Foundation, Ireimom Postnatal Care, and Omuseon Beauty Academy. The six companies offering indirect employment are Foodist, Geumgang Home Care Welfare Center for the Elderly, Delcon, Samil Corporate Financial Support Group, Sambo Meat & Food, and Yerang Home Care Welfare Center.
Recruitment positions include after-school instructors, special care instructors, maternal and newborn health managers, accounting clerks, kitchen staff, nursing assistants, cleaning and inspection staff, telemarketers, and office workers.
Additionally, a variety of free employment support services will be provided, such as one-on-one customized job counseling, job information, on-site interviews, vocational aptitude tests, and career interruption prevention campaigns, all tailored to each job seeker’s age and career gap.
In particular, this event is held at the Donga Department Store (Shopping Branch) in Banwoldang to improve accessibility for local residents and job seekers, providing one-stop employment support services on-site. For participants hoping to find employment, events such as a career interruption prevention quiz wheel will be held to boost motivation, and souvenirs and free beverages will be provided.
If visiting the site on the day is difficult, you can contact the Southern Women’s New Employment Center to receive customized career counseling and job placement services tailored to your experience, age, and desired job type, as well as post-employment follow-up services.
Park Yunhee, Director of Youth and Women’s Education at Daegu City, said, “The Good Job Bus is receiving great response from female job seekers as it allows for immediate hiring through on-site interviews. We encourage those seeking employment to visit the site, take advantage of various employment support services, and seize job opportunities.”
