President Yoon Suk-yeol will hold talks with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who will officially visit Korea for three days from the 29th of this month to the 1st of next month. This will be their first meeting.
The presidential office announced on the 26th that President Yoon plans to discuss practical cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation on regional and international stages during the talks.
Earlier, the Slovak news agency TASR reported on the 22nd of last month (local time) that Prime Minister Fico is scheduled to visit Korea at the end of this month to discuss his country's new nuclear power plant construction plans with the Korean government.
The defense industry sector is also expected to be a key agenda during Prime Minister Fico's visit to Korea.
