On the 26th, the Criminal Division 4 of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Nam Su-yeon) announced that a mid-30s doctor A from a large hospital and a mid-40s executive B of a KOSDAQ-listed company were arrested and indicted on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act, while two university students in their 20s were indicted without detention.

Mr. A is accused of purchasing and using drugs from Yeom Mo (31), the president of the club. Mr. A even performed surgery on the day he used drugs. University students who accessed drugs through Yeom, finding it difficult to obtain drugs after Yeom's arrest, received drugs through Mr. B and used them together. Mr. A is known to be a specialist with nine years of medical experience. The prosecution is reviewing whether to apply charges such as obstruction of business against the hospital concerning Mr. A.

A prosecution official stated, "We will do our best to maintain the prosecution so that the accused receive strict sentences commensurate with their crimes," and added, "We will work closely with the police to eradicate drug crimes."
