Province Holds Creative Content Contest to Improve Awareness of Migrant Workers

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 26th that it will hold the "1st Migrant Workers Awareness Improvement Excellent Content Contest" to promote the human rights and interests of migrant workers, and is accepting submissions until November 21.

The contest is held in two categories: video and poster, and seeks content on various themes that spread positive awareness of migrant workers. The video category accepts works in any format such as documentaries, animations, and music videos, with a duration between 30 seconds and 3 minutes. The poster category targets digital or hand-drawn works in A3 size.

The province will conduct a first round of expert judging and a second round of plagiarism verification among the submissions, and plans to hold an awards ceremony and announce the winning works at the end of December.

A total of 15 works will be selected across the two categories: 2 grand prizes, 2 excellence awards, 4 merit awards, and 7 encouragement awards. Winners will receive certificates from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province along with a total prize money of 7.8 million KRW.

Anyone interested in the human rights of migrant workers can participate individually or as a team. Applications must be submitted by November 21 via email to the Gyeonggi Province Immigration and Social Policy Division contact (namevita@gg.go.kr) along with the contest entry, application form, consent form, and pledge.
