Constructed 18-Hole Course with 1.5 Billion Won Investment

Cheonan City Completes Pungseocheon Park Golf Course... Pilot Operation from October to November Cheonan City, Chungnam Province, has completed the construction of Pungseocheon Park Golf Course and will begin pilot operation until November.

Cheonan City in Chungnam Province announced on the 26th that it has completed the construction of the Pungseocheon Park Golf Course and will begin trial operations until November.


The Pungseocheon Park Golf Course was built in the Pungse-ri area of Pungse-myeon with a total investment of 1.55 billion KRW, covering 26,725 square meters and featuring 18 holes.


The city plans to decide whether to extend the trial operation period depending on the condition of the grass, and after the trial period, Cheonan Urban Corporation will be entrusted with its operation.


In addition, to meet the local demand for park golf, the city plans to complete the Baekseok-dong Park Golf Course with 36 holes by November, and is currently constructing the Seongnam-myeon Park Golf Course with 18 holes, aiming for completion by July next year.


The Pungseocheon and Seongnam-myeon Park Golf Courses will be open to the public free of charge, while the Baekseok-dong Park Golf Course will charge a fee.


Mayor Park Sangdon said, "We are working to build park golf infrastructure by constructing three courses simultaneously in response to the rapidly increasing demand for park golf," and added, "We will continue to create an environment where more citizens can comfortably enjoy park golf."
