On the 25th, Kyungnam College of Information & Technology held an opening ceremony for the DS Wellbeing Food House, a lifelong education facility, and officially began its operation.
The DS Wellbeing Food House opened its doors on this day after extensively remodeling an existing building, equipping it with the latest equipment and facilities, and aiming to share the expertise of its culinary faculty with the local community.
The university plans to offer lifelong education programs here, focusing on hands-on experiences with traditional cuisine, such as making traditional soy sauce and doenjang, and wellness side dish classes.
President Kim Taesang said, "We will offer a variety of lifelong education programs needed by the local community at the DS Wellbeing Food House, which is equipped with excellent facilities."
About 50 people attended the opening ceremony, including Park Dongsun, Chairman of Dongseo Academy, President Kim Taesang of Kyungnam College of Information & Technology, and local community representatives.
