Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) has joined hands with Green Friends Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jong-sik) to ensure housing stability for young people who have fallen victim to jeonse fraud. On the 25th at 3 p.m., the district office signed a business agreement to support "housing stability for vulnerable youth and youth community projects."


The main contents include ▲ cooperation for LH youth-specialized purchased rental housing occupancy ▲ collaboration in discovering youth projects ▲ linkage support for various youth community support projects.


According to the business agreement, Green Friends Co., Ltd. will support the occupancy of vulnerable youth such as those affected by jeonse fraud in Gangseo-gu, and the district will promote various youth support projects, including operating youth meeting networks.


Green Friends Co., Ltd. is a social enterprise that provides LH and SH purchased rental housing at affordable prices to low-income youth and others. Recently, they renovated the former Ramada Encore Hotel building near Magoknaru Station into 240 units of "LH specialized purchased rental housing (social housing)" and will operate it for 20 years.


District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "Through this agreement, we hope to alleviate the housing instability of young people affected by jeonse fraud even a little," and added, "We will actively cooperate to create a sustainable eco-friendly urban community by linking various youth support projects promoted by the district."
