Shuttle Bus Service of 28 Vehicles on 6 Routes from Next Month 3 to 6
On the 25th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will operate free shuttle buses for the convenience of tourists during the '2024 Namsadang Baudeogi' festival held from the 3rd to the 6th of next month at Anseong Matchum Land and the Anseongcheon area.
The shuttle buses will operate on six routes with a total of 28 buses deployed.
First, the city will run a route starting from Hankyong National University, passing through Jungang-ro → Bongsan Rotary → General Bus Terminal, and arriving at the festival venue's east gate. This route will operate 180 times daily from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM during the festival period.
From Anseong Matchum Art Hall, a route passing through Bongsan Rotary and Anseong Terminal to the festival venue's east gate will operate 60 times daily from 9:50 AM to 10:00 PM. Another route running between Anseong Matchum Sports Complex and the festival venue's east gate will operate 120 times daily from 9:50 AM to 10:00 PM.
The route connecting Bogae-myeon Administrative Welfare Center and the festival venue will operate 60 times daily from 9:50 AM to 10:00 PM, and the route running between Anseong City Hall and the festival venue will operate from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Additionally, the city will operate a route circulating between the festival venue's main gate, east gate, and on-street parking lots.
The city plans to deploy traffic control specialists during the festival period and cooperate with related departments, the police station, and volunteer organizations to provide various support, detour measures, and parking lot announcement broadcasts.
A city official said, "We have prepared free shuttle buses so that visitors to the Baudeogi Festival can enjoy the event comfortably and safely," adding, "We will do our best to ensure a successful festival without traffic congestion."
