Mayor Hong Nampyo: "I Will Do My Best to Deliver Administration That Can Be Felt in Daily Life"
On the 25th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the "2024 Third Quarter Commendation Ceremony for Distinguished Citizens for City Development" at the City Hall Citizen Hall.
The ceremony recognized 98 citizens, including volunteers and local community leaders, who have contributed to the development of the city and the community.
In particular, the recipients included the Volvo Group Korea Volunteer Team, which has set an example of social contribution through environmental cleanup activities at the Gwisang Beach near the Changwon factory since 1996, and citizens who have volunteered in various ways to support vulnerable groups.
Changwon Special City Mayor Hong Nam-pyo said, "I am delighted to be able to gather with citizens and share the joy of the 'Distinguished Citizen Commendation.' Changwon City will focus on discovering and implementing 'lifestyle-oriented projects' so that we can provide administration that citizens can truly feel in their daily lives. We will do our best to achieve this."
