iPixel to Promote 'Exersite Care' at Global Healthcare Expo

Exersite Care, developed by iPixel in 2023, is an application designed to enable patients who require rehabilitation interventions such as home rehabilitation exercises or manual therapy to easily follow prescribed exercises anytime and anywhere without being restricted by location. It integrates with hospital electronic medical records (EMR), allowing professional medical staff to prescribe customized rehabilitation exercises that patients can follow directly within Exersite Care.

With over 2,200 exercise motions digitized, the AI motion recognition technology analyzes patients’ movements in real time to provide accurate coaching feedback. Medical professionals can verify whether patients are performing the prescribed exercises correctly through Exersite Care and provide additional prescriptions based on the patient’s progress.

Currently used in some hospitals for rehabilitation exercise patients, Exersite Care allows users to connect their smartphones or tablets to a TV and perform precise rehabilitation exercises while watching their own movements. iPixel received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the 9th 2024 4th Industrial Revolution Excellent Company Awards and was recognized for its technology by being selected as an app for LG Electronics’ smart TVs.

Lee Sang-su, CEO of iPixel, said, “Exersite Care was created to enable musculoskeletal pain management, which was previously only available at hospitals or exercise rehabilitation facilities, to be effectively performed anytime and anywhere through expert exercise prescriptions and accurate feedback using AI motion recognition.” He added, “We hope to have many opportunities to communicate with medical professionals and hospital officials at the exhibitions.”
