National Opera Company to Perform Opera 'Gianni Schicchi' at Yeoncheon Sureul Art Hall Opera 'Gianni Schicchi' Performance Promotional Material.

Yeoncheon Sureul Art Hall announced on the 25th that it will host the opera "Gianni Schicchi," performed by the National Opera Company, Korea's top opera group, on November 23rd at 3 PM.

This performance was planned by inviting the National Opera Company so that the residents of Yeoncheon County can experience high-quality cultural arts, aiming to provide a special opportunity for local residents.

The opera "Gianni Schicchi" is the only comic opera composed by the Italian opera master Giacomo Puccini, and it has a unique charm different from his representative works such as "La Boh?me," "Tosca," and "Madama Butterfly." This opera borrows its theme from Dante's "Divine Comedy," offering delicate music and an exciting storyline that will bring great emotion and enjoyment to the audience.

The performance features the finest vocalists carefully selected by the National Opera Company, combined with stylish stage direction to further highlight the charm of the opera. In particular, it is offered at an affordable price distinct from other regions to allow Yeoncheon’s local residents to enjoy cultural benefits.

Tickets are priced at 30,000 KRW for R seats, 20,000 KRW for S seats, and 10,000 KRW for A seats, with a special 50% discount for student audiences to provide many young people the opportunity to experience opera.

Song Seungwon, Director of Yeoncheon County Facilities Management Corporation, said, “This high-quality performance by the National Opera Company will be an opportunity for Yeoncheon residents to encounter diverse arts.”
