This resolution ceremony has been organized to strengthen the determination of the Busan representative team participating in the 105th National Sports Festival, which will be held in October in various locations in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, and to encourage support and cheers from Busan citizens.

Approximately 600 people, including Mayor Park Hyungjoon, Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo, President Jang Inhwa of the Sports Council, sports figures, athletes, and officials, are expected to attend the ceremony to reaffirm their determination to win.

The event will proceed in the following order: report on preparation status, screening of athlete training videos, presentation of the team flag, athlete representative oath, words of encouragement, and pledge of determination. The athlete representative oath will be delivered by Jin Minseop (Yeonje District Office, athletics) and Kim Dayoung (Busan Facilities Corporation, handball).

Before the ceremony begins, a performance of "LED Tron Dance" by Optical Crew, which combines LED technology and dance for the first time in Korea, is scheduled.

The Busan representative team includes 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games gold medalists ▲Song Sera (fencing, Busan City Hall) ▲Baek Incheol (swimming, Jung District Office), Hangzhou Asian Games silver medalist ▲Ha Jimin (yachting, Haeundae District Office), Hangzhou Asian Games bronze medalist ▲Kim Suhyeon (weightlifting, Busan Sports Council), 104th National Sports Festival bronze medalist ▲Kim Hyeonji (aerobics, Busan Sports Council), and 2021 Tokyo Olympic national representative ▲Jin Minseop (athletics, Yeonje District Office), as well as teams in group events such as ▲Kendo (Busan Sports Council) ▲Sepaktakraw (Busan Sports High School) ▲Badminton (Samsung Life Insurance, Busan University of Foreign Studies) ▲Hockey (KT) ▲Football (Dongmyeong University) ▲Basketball (Dongju Girls' High School). The city is making thorough preparations for the successful hosting of the 106th National Sports Festival next year, which will be held in Busan for the first time in 25 years since the 81st National Sports Festival.

In February, the city established the National Sports Festival Planning Team and formed an organizing committee with over 140 members from civic groups, political and business circles, media, and broadcasting companies, officially beginning preparations for the festival. In addition, 120 stadiums have been secured through new construction and renovations.

The 106th National Sports Festival will be held for seven days from October 17 to 23 next year, with 50 events (47 official, 3 demonstration) taking place at 82 venues including the Busan Asiad Main Stadium.

Mayor Park Hyungjoon stated, "Our city is working to become a city of sports for all by implementing step-by-step policies so that sports naturally become a part of Busan citizens' daily lives. Next year's National Sports Festival, the largest sports event in Korea to be held in Busan, will also serve as an opportunity to make Busan a paradise for sports. I sincerely hope that all members of the Busan representative team, who will compete on behalf of Busan, show great matches worthy of athletes from a city that loves sports, with pride and a sense of responsibility. All Busan citizens join me in cheering you on, and I ask for your generous support for the team."
