Samcheok-si, 'Mysterious Gangwon Tour' Held from 27th to 29th

Popular Animation 'Shinbi Apartment' Linked Tourism with Game
YouTube 'TtuattujiTV' Special Fan Meeting Event Also Scheduled

Samcheok City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Park Sang-su) announced on the 25th that the ‘Mysterious Gangwon Tour’ linked with CJ ENM’s popular animation ‘Shinbi Apartment’ IP game ‘Shinbi Apartment Ghost Hunter’ will be held in Samcheok from the 27th to the 29th, hosted by the Gangwon Tourism Foundation (CEO Choi Seong-hyun).

The animation ‘Shinbi Apartment’ was first aired as a TV series in 2016, and since then, it has become the first domestic horror fantasy animation with a strong fan base, extending to musicals, toys, and games.

The ‘Mysterious Gangwon Tour’ follows the traces of ghosts appearing in the animation ‘Shinbi Apartment’ through a ‘stamp mission’ protecting hidden treasures at Samcheok Marine Cable Car and Isabu Dokdo Memorial Hall. On the 28th, a special fan meeting event will also be held with YouTube channel Ttuatugi TV, which has 1.45 million subscribers, for the first 500 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, the ‘Mysterious Gangwon Tour’ has been taking place sequentially from September 19 to October 13 in four abandoned mining areas in southern Gangwon: Taebaek, Samcheok, Yeongwol, and Jeongseon. Details of the event can be found on the ‘Mysterious Gangwon Tour’ website.
