Gyeonggi Uijeongbu City (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 24th that it held the "14th Transportation Policy Strategy Meeting" attended by about 10 people including the mayor, vice mayor, director of the transportation bureau, and heads of related departments.
Held in the mayor's office, the meeting discussed ▲ an efficient transfer system between rail and bus public transportation in preparation for the opening of the Metropolitan Area Express Railway (GTX) Line C ▲ operation of the extended Line 7 metropolitan railway (Dobongsan~Okjeong) scheduled to open in the second half of 2027 ▲ and improvement plans for the parking environment in the commercial area of Minrak 2 District.
Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “While projects should be promptly carried out according to procedures in a timely manner, it is also important to provide sufficient explanations to citizens and collect their opinions to enhance the outcomes of the projects.”
