Paju City signed a business agreement with LH Northern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters on the 23rd to supply dormitory facilities to small and medium-sized enterprises. Gyeonggi Paju City announced on the 24th that it will promote a housing support project to supply vacant LH rental housing units managed by the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) Gyeonggi Northern Regional Headquarters as dormitories for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
On the 23rd, Paju City signed a business agreement with the LH Gyeonggi Northern Regional Headquarters to supply dormitory facilities for SMEs.
The city plans to form a working-level consultative body and gradually support the housing stability of SME workers. Under this agreement, LH will supply 294 units.
The supply scale by region includes 122 units in Paju Unjeong Chorongkkot Village Complex 3, 48 units in Paju Publishing Culture LH Complex 1, 26 units in the Court Happy Housing, and 85 units in Munsan Seonyu Complexes 3 and 5.
Eligibility for application is limited to small and medium manufacturing enterprises in the Paju area. Companies wishing to participate in this project can apply to the Corporate Support Division, Corporate Support Team from the 11th to the 18th of next month.
The city plans to select companies considering various factors such as business longevity, technology development, new worker recruitment status, and family-friendly company status.
Selected companies can sign a lease contract with LH in December and move in between January and February of next year.
Kim Kyung-il, Mayor of Paju City, stated, “We hope that this agreement will serve as an opportunity to improve the living conditions of SME workers in Paju, enabling companies to secure excellent talent and establish a virtuous cycle that revitalizes the local economy.”
