Black Yak has unveiled the new product from Yorkshire, known as the 'Son Seok-gu hiking shoes.' Along with Son Seok-gu, a campaign video was also released, featuring the product he wore, the new fall/winter model ‘Yorkshire Shift GTX.’
According to the fashion industry on the 26th, Yorkshire is Black Yak’s steady-selling hiking shoe series. The newly released product features the 'VS System' applied to the midsole, which minimizes foot wobbling, allowing for a comfortable and stable walk all the way to the summit. Additionally, it uses Gore-Tex material that provides waterproof and breathable functions, keeping feet comfortable in any weather.
The outsole uses 'Loop Grip,' which combines the advantages of butyl rubber and regular rubber, offering both traction and abrasion resistance. The insole incorporates Pollinjin’s deodorizing technology to reduce unpleasant odors caused by sweat.
The exterior design, treated with natural leather, completes a classic yet distinctive style, making it suitable not only for hiking, camping, and traveling but also as a fashion item for creating a gopcore look in everyday life.
The campaign video captures Son Seok-gu enjoying hiking and camping comfortably. It conveys the message that with Yorkshire hiking shoes, one can enjoy various outdoor activities without worrying about different situations that may arise.
In addition to the gray color worn by Son Seok-gu in the video, the colors black and beige are also available. Another new product in the Yorkshire series is the ‘Yorkshire Classic,’ which features a ridge shoe concept design.
