Inevitable technologies are defined as technologies that are unavoidable for human progress. On the other hand, they also have characteristics that conflict with traditional ideologies.

In his lecture, President Lee will examine inevitable technologies from three perspectives: convenience, health, and human survival, and discuss what strategies should be established at the national level to advance these technologies.

In particular, he is expected to emphasize that in situations where inevitable technologies such as artificial intelligence, gene editing, stem cells, and climate and energy conflict with traditional ideologies, ideology and technology must find a compromise to achieve both traditional values and national prosperity.

The National Assembly will serve as a venue for such compromise, and President Lee will also appeal for the importance of improving legal systems for inevitable technologies during his lecture.

The lecture is open to anyone without prior registration.

President Lee said, "This lecture will be an opportunity to discuss how advanced science and technology and humans interact to prepare for the future, and what strategies South Korea should employ to prosper by utilizing inevitable technologies."
