'Inje Originals Book Concert & Trail Walking' Held on 28th
Opportunity to See Forest Restoration Process through Eco-friendly Fertilizer Application and Seed Planting
Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Inje-gun (Governor Choi Sang-gi) announced that on the 28th of this month, the ‘2024 Inje Originals Book Concert & Trail Walking’ will be held in Inje-gun, where participants can experience walking through wildfire-affected areas and attend a humanities lecture.
Hosted by the Inje-gun Marketing Center, this event is organized with the purpose of observing the natural restoration process in the wildfire-affected areas of Nam-myeon, Inje-gun, and experiencing the hope of recovery.
Participants will gather at 9 a.m. on the 28th at the starting point (631-2 Namjeon-ri, Nam-myeon) and take part in an eco-friendly trail walking along a 4.2 km section of the wildfire-affected area in Namjeon-ri, Nam-myeon. Along with walking, they will have time to closely observe the forest restoration process through eco-friendly fertilizing and seed planting.
After the trekking, from 3 p.m., a humanities program ‘One Hundred in One’ book concert will be held at the Inje Miracle Library. The book concert, themed ‘Shamanism in Literature,’ will feature humanities mentor Jeongbak, YouTuber Jeongpro (Jeong Young-jin), and voice actor Lee Ji-seon, who will share diverse stories with the audience.
Additionally, during the event, various prizes will be given away through a raffle, including a first prize electric scooter (1 person), second prize pet wet vacuum cleaner (2 people), and third prize Bluetooth speakers (10 people). All participants will receive a box of Ttaom tea made from natural ingredients.
The participation fee is free. Those wishing to participate can apply online (via QR code), by phone, or on-site, with a first-come, first-served registration for up to 300 people until the 28th.
