TmaxSoft, a company specializing in enterprise software (SW), announced on the 23rd that it has promoted Lee Hyung-yong, former Vice President and Head of the Financial Business Division, to President as the new Head of Business.
Born in 1972, President Lee graduated from Chung-Ang University in 1997 and began his IT business career at Inseong Information, a comprehensive information and communication service company, where he was in charge of the e-solution business. He first connected with TmaxSoft in 2003. He has continuously held key positions in TmaxSoft's financial business, leading next-generation financial projects and significantly contributing to the company's growth.
In 2021, he was appointed Vice President and Head of the Financial Business Division, leading various financial businesses in the cloud era. His capabilities were proven through projects such as Shinhan Bank's The Next next-generation project completed last year, and the partnership established in 2022 with Shinhan DS to jointly pioneer the global financial solution market and offshoring, expanding domestic and international financial businesses.
During his 21 years of long-term service, he experienced various changes at TmaxSoft, accumulating rich experience and know-how. He possesses a deep understanding of the SW industry and business insight, and his outstanding business leadership skills were highly evaluated, leading to his appointment as the Head of Business overseeing the entire company. This is the first time someone who joined TmaxSoft as a regular employee has been appointed President.
President Lee stated, "We will actively respond to the changes brought by the AI and cloud era both internally and externally and pursue quantitative and qualitative growth."
