SelectStar Participates in AI-Based 'National Experience-Oriented Service' Development... Building Psychological Counseling Data

AI-specialized startup SelectStar announced on the 23rd that it will participate in the "Super-large AI-based Psychological Care Service Support Project" hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).

Going forward, SelectStar will handle data processing and solution development in the national experience-oriented service development demonstration task of the Super-large AI-based Psychological Care Service Support Project.

The national experience-oriented service development project aims to develop and demonstrate mental health management services using super-large AI in the fields of psychological care and mental health. Through this project, it is expected that mental health prevention and management services that citizens can experience in daily life will be provided.

This project is carried out by a consortium of seven organizations including SelectStar, KT, Seongdong-gu Mental Health Welfare Center, Korea Suicide Prevention Association, Korea Violence and Abuse Prevention Association, Hanyang University Hospital, and Hanyang University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.

SelectStar will build large-scale training data by collecting and processing psychology-related learning data, and support super-large AI modeling, evaluation, and verification solution development. In particular, psychological counseling data specialized in mental health and general counseling data will be systematically processed to be utilized in super-large AI services.

With experience and capabilities in handling over 200 million data records, SelectStar plans to successfully carry out the system construction task for personalized mental health management.

Kim Se-yeop, CEO of SelectStar, said, "Through participation in this project, psychological counseling services based on AI technology are expected to greatly contribute to the improvement of the public's psychological health," adding, "Based on SelectStar's data collection and processing capabilities, we will contribute to building AI-based psychological care solutions that citizens can experience."

Meanwhile, SelectStar provides an "All-in-one Data Service" that covers all stages of AI, including data design consulting and construction for AI development and adoption, data maintenance, and large language model (LLM) verification. In the second half of this year, it plans to launch the "LLM Reliability Verification Solution," which automates quality and safety verification tasks for LLM services.
