'Performance Presentation - Hahaha Super Eosing Challenge'
Communication and Empathy Among 3,000 Students, Parents, and Staff
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo) will hold the “9th Morning Change (Che-In-Ji) Performance Presentation? HaHaHa Morning Change Super Earthing Challenge” at Dadaepo Beach at 2 p.m. on the 21st, targeting around 3,000 elementary, middle, and high school students, parents, and faculty members who wish to participate.
This performance presentation aims to share the achievements of the “Morning Change” policy, which has sparked a nationwide trend in morning physical activities, and to promote students’ physical health and character development.
The Busan Office of Education will run the event with the “Super Earthing Challenge,” designed for participants to interact and communicate, as well as various sports experience booths, beach sports activities, and various performances.
The “Super Earthing Challenge” operates by having participants walk barefoot along a course on Dadaepo Beach and complete certification missions to receive souvenirs. “Earthing” is a compound word of “Earth” and the present progressive “-ing,” referring to the act of walking barefoot on the ground.
Additionally, 11 sports experience booths have been prepared, including flying disc, health and fitness measurement, laser shooting, and traditional games. Beach sports activities include beach soccer, beach volleyball, ultimate game, and traditional ssireum competitions.
Furthermore, the event atmosphere will be heightened with opening, jump rope, and Taekwondo performances, a random dance challenge, and a special performance by singer HaHa, who serves as the promotional ambassador for Busan Office of Education policies.
Ha Yoonsoo, Superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, stated, “This presentation is a meaningful occasion to share the outcomes of Morning Change, which helps students develop a spirit of cooperation and consideration through physical activities and greatly contributes to their health,” and added, “I hope this event will also be a valuable opportunity for students, parents, and faculty to understand and empathize with each other and restore the educational community through communication.”
Meanwhile, Morning Change is gaining nationwide attention for its positive impact on students’ physical fitness, character development, and academic contribution.
According to a survey on the “effectiveness of Morning Change” conducted in June among 24,684 students, parents, and teachers from 594 schools operating Morning Change, about 80% of respondents in each category reported experiencing positive changes.
