Showers are expected in most parts of the country from morning to evening, and in Jeju Island from late dawn to morning.
Expected rainfall amounts are 5 to 40 mm in the Jeolla region, 5 to 40 mm in the Gyeongsang region, 5 to 20 mm in Jeju Island, and 5 to 30 mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region.
For the time being, the highest perceived temperature in most areas nationwide will be very hot at 33 to 35 degrees Celsius. The late autumn heat will continue, with temperatures 3 to 6 degrees higher than the average.
The morning low temperature is expected to be between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 27 and 34 degrees Celsius.
By region, the daytime high temperatures are forecasted as follows: Seoul 32°C, Incheon 31°C, Gangneung 27°C, Gwangju and Daegu 34°C, Daejeon and Busan 33°C. Tropical nights will occur in many places for the time being.
The sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in all coastal waters including the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea.
The wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are forecasted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
