Write a Review for a Gift and Receive Jeonnam Rice

Jeollanam-do is hosting a Hometown Love Donation Program certification event from the 16th to the 30th in celebration of Chuseok. Those who donate and write a review of the thank-you gift will receive Jeonnam rice, provided to the first 400 participants. On the 13th, promotional activities encouraging the practice of hometown love were also conducted for returning visitors.
This event was organized to promote the Hometown Love Donation Program and to boost the consumption of Jeonnam rice.
Anyone who donates 100,000 KRW or more to Jeonnam through ‘Hometown Love e-um’ or any NongHyup Bank nationwide, applies for a thank-you gift, and writes a review of the selected gift can participate in the event. Participants in the certification event will receive an additional thank-you gift beyond the existing ones, limited to 400 people.
The additional thank-you gift is 10kg of Jeonnam rice worth approximately 30,000 KRW, registered on Jeonnam’s Hometown Love e-um. The varieties include Sindongjin, Hiami, Wanggeoni Tamnane Rice, Daesup Clear Damyang Rice, Guardian Angel Healthy Rice, Jeongnamjin Sae Cheongmu Rice, Premium Hopyeong, Dalmaji Rice, Nabi Rice, and House of Four Seasons.
Jeonnam Province also launched on-site promotional activities on the 13th in cooperation with city and county offices and NongHyup Bank branches to create a boom for the Hometown Love Donation Program during the Chuseok holiday.
At Mokpo Station that day, Jeonnam Province, Mokpo City, Muan County, Sinan County, and the Mokpo Sinan branch of NongHyup Bank jointly conducted a Hometown Love practice campaign, welcoming visitors returning to their hometowns. Similar welcoming greetings and promotional activities aimed at overcoming the crisis of regional extinction were held at Suncheon Station and Naju Station. Recruitment activities for the ‘Jeonnam Sarangae (愛) Supporters’ were also carried out.
Kim Jong-gi, Director of the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Local Administration, said, “I am pleased to have the opportunity to closely communicate with many expatriates, returning visitors, and hometown visitors during the long Chuseok holiday,” adding, “We will continue to widely promote the Hometown Love Donation Program and Jeonnam Sarangae Supporters nationwide and keep the hometown love fever for Jeonnam alive.”
