Service on Naver Map and KakaoMap
Providing Nearby Hospital, Clinic, and Emergency Room Information
Click on Holiday Treatment and Emergency Treatment Tabs
NAVER and Kakao will provide a service through their map applications to guide hospitals and clinics open during the Chuseok holiday and emergency room operating institutions.
Kang Dohyun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT, visited NAVER and Kakao on the 13th and urged them to ensure that there are no disruptions in providing this service.
NAVER and Kakao receive information from the Central Emergency Medical Center about hospitals and clinics open during the Chuseok holiday period and emergency room operating institutions, and provide guidance services through their map apps.
By clicking the 'Holiday Medical Care' and 'Emergency Medical Care' tabs appearing at the top of the main screen of NAVER Map and KakaoMap, users can check information about nearby hospitals, clinics, and emergency room operating institutions.
When clicking the Holiday Medical Care tab, hospitals and clinics open on the selected date are displayed. By clicking the individual hospital information page, detailed operating hours can be confirmed. The service guiding hospitals and clinics open during the Chuseok holiday is provided from the 14th to the 18th.
By clicking the Emergency Medical Care tab, users can check information about emergency room operating institutions nationwide. The emergency room operating institution guidance service will be provided continuously from the 13th until emergency medical care stabilizes.
Vice Minister Kang said, "Thanks to the combined efforts of related ministries, institutions, and private companies, we are able to provide information about emergency medical hospitals and clinics through map apps," and added, "Please make every effort until the end to ensure that citizens do not miss receiving medical care because they do not know which hospitals and clinics are open."
