Kim Deok-hyun, Governor of Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province, is visiting a military unit to deliver consolation money. Kim Deok-hyun, the governor of Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province, visited 12 military units under his jurisdiction from the 9th to the 12th ahead of the Chuseok holiday to deliver consolation money and encourage the soldiers who are carrying out their duties for national security and social order activities.
During his visits, Governor Kim Deok-hyun listened to the difficulties faced by each unit, expressed gratitude for the military units' support including civil assistance, and actively heard the grievances and suggestions of local residents. He promised to establish a close communication system and mutual cooperation.
Governor Kim Deok-hyun said, "I am grateful for the dedication of the soldiers who always devote themselves to public safety and national defense despite difficult conditions. I hope that all, including the soldiers and the people of Yeoncheon County, have a warm and abundant Chuseok holiday."
